Candour
Life is hard, you know.
Challenges, tests and obscure committments.
Our hearts give in sometimes.
We don't seem to have a track of it.
We all were born amateur.
We've passed through hurdles, innumerable.
Juggling our family, friends and work.
But have we ever really had 'life'?
We hold on to things,
making things harder than ever.
We hold on to people,
making life irksome like never.
We take no note of changes,
as if they had been clandestine.
We debar that people have changed.
But they're no longer 'ours'; there's no more 'us'.
